White developed his KKt to support his frontier KP - a rarer move, as failing to attack the knight or take control of QB5(c5) risked a Sicilian in reply.
Black sets his Queen's Pawn on Q3(d6), freeing his QB for a likely 4..B-KKt5 pin and challenging the KP to pressurise White's command of the centre. B-Alt.
