White developed his KB to QB4(c4) contesting for control of Q5(d5) and planning 2..KtxP, 3.BxP+ch, a line tending with correct play to favour Black.
Black's KB3(f6) Knight removes the KP en prise on K5(e4), and targets the White king's weak (or least defended) KBP for a potential Q+KR fork. B-Alt.
