Black advances a sacrificial King's Pawn to the centre and frees his KB for ..B-QKt5+ch. The sound Budapest Defence is an aggressive counter-gambit tried by combative players hoping to catch an opponent off-balance, but if met correctly White tends to gain advantage (with few draws). B-Alt.
