White developed an inferior queen to Q5(d5) to defend his doubled KP, a line usually merging with a 4.B-B4 Rubinstein strategy to keep the extra pawn.
Black's Queen's Knight to QB3(c6) doubles an attack on the KP, reserving KB options.
