White developed his queen's knight to QB3(c3) to control his Q5(d5) and contest for K4(e4).
Black develops his King's Knight to KB3(f6) to counter White's QKt influence in the centre, set upon permanently preventing a White P-K4. White is now likely to pin Black's KKt to its Q. B-Alt.
