Black advanced his QP to Q4(d5), freed his KB and threatened White's QBP - a Grünfeld tactic inviting 4.PxP..KtxP, 5.P-K4..KtxP, 6.KtPxKt.
White's threatened Queen's Bishop's Pawn removes the QP on Q5(d5) and invites exchange.
