Black pushes his QBPawn out one square, starting a queen's-side fianchetto. May become a Queen's Indian Defence by transposition (usually set from four other approach lines, and mainly in reply to 1.P-Q4 followed by 2.Kt-KB3 or 2.P-QB4). B-Alt.
