The Steinitz Attack
Black plans 2..P-Q4, 3..Kt-KB3 against White's KP before ..P-QB4 to undermine the base of his centre.
White moves his King's Pawn a further square to K5(e5) to prevent a Black ..Kt-KB3. This rarer line was played six times by Steinitz in the 1882 Vienna tournament. W-Alt.
