White pushed his queen's rook's pawn out to QR3(a3) to attack the pin earlier than usual, perhaps to lay an eventual trap rather than transpose back in.
Black's QKt5(b4) Bishop removes the knight on QB6(c3) with check, and invites a doubling of QBPs.
