White's KP set on K3(e3) freed his KB to defend his QBP - rarer than 4.PxP, it may arise more via a QPG.
Black's QBPawn to QB3(c6) triples his QP support. The hybrid Schlechter combines the K.I. Grunfeld and Slav Defences (arising more via Slav). B-Alt.
