White's QBPawn push tries to tempt Black further aside (a gambit similar to the Danish). Now out of fashion, seen more in correspondence games than tourneys. Usual reply 4..PxP, 5.KtxP for a vigorous game or push 4..P-Q6 to avoid tempo loss. W-Alt.
