THE GIUOCO PIANO (or Italian Opening)
White's KB is building an attack on Black's KB2(f7).
Black leaves the "Épine Dorsale", his copy King's Bishop set to control Q5(d4), target KB7(f2) and achieve rapid castling. The two bishop moves signal the Giuoco Piano (Italian for "Quiet Game"), dating from 1490, one of the oldest on record. Now White plans for P-Q4 and has many choices. B-Alt.

When castling always touch the king first
Under FIDE laws of chess, if a player deliberately touches a rook and then his king, he is not allowed to castle on that side on that move but must still move the rook if legally possible.
