Black advanced a twice-supported queen's pawn to the still vacant centre, freed his QB for development and doubled his control of White's K4(e4).
White develops his Queen's Bishop to QKt2(b2), forming a "queen's fianchetto" to control his Q4(d4) and dominate the long dark-squared diagonal.
