White's Queen under threat moves to QB2(c2). He loses a tempo but plans 8.KtxP..PxP, 9.QxB+ch.
Black develops his King's Knight to K2(e7) to shield his king against 8.P-K4..PxP, 9.QxP+ch on the half-open e-file, and can now castle.
