Krause Variation
White advanced (best) his QBP with a delayed "Queen's Gambit" move to tempt Black off-centre.
Black (usually) declines the gambit, but develops his King's Knight to KB3(f6) to improve a QP defence. Alternative 3..BPxP may occur more in a Reti. B-Alt.
