White initiated a London System and then made a rare change of tactic, advancing a QBP gambit to QB4(c4) hoping to draw Black's QP off-centre.
Black declines the delayed QBP gambit and pushes his King's Pawn out to K3(e6), improves his QP support to deter an early exchange, and frees his KB.
