Black develops his King's Knight to K2(e7) tripling his QKt support (lessening White's threat of BxKt and KtxP) and contesting for his Q4(d5). Italian Count Carlo Francesco Cozio wrote a chess treatise in 1740 containing many new unpublished lines. B-Alt.
