White's KB3(f3) Knight invariably completes a pawn exchange, removing Black's newly doubled QP on Q4(d4). Compare to Orthodox and Dragon positions. Black has several lines in reply, notably 4..Kt-KB3, 4..Kt-QB3 and 4..P-QR3.
