White developed an inferior KB to QB4(c4) to control Q5(d5) and target Black's king's weak KBP.
Black develops his King's Knight to KB3(f6) attacking White's KP and negating White's control of Black's Q4(d5) as (eg.) 3.Q-K2?!..P-Q4, 4.PxP..KtxP, 5.BxKt..QxB gives Black a strong centre.
