The Philidor (f4) Variation

White advances his KBPawn to KB4(f4) adopting a "reversed Dutch" response. Not recommended since McDonnell vs. Bourdonnais (1834) showed Black can get a satisfactory game. White may try for the Grand Prix Attack but best were main and Close lines, and Morra and Wing gambits. W-Alt.
