White develops his King's Bishop to QKt5(b5) to half-pin the QKt. Favoured by Nimzowitsch and reintroduced by French IGM Nicolas Rossolimo in the 1940s. Also called the Hispano-Sicilian (the Spanish opening KB pin being similar). W-Alt.
