BONES OF THE HUMAN BODY Here are some useful mnemonic rhymes for the order of bones in parts of the human body. 1. For the bones of the upper limb: " Some crooks have underestimated Royal Canadian Mounted Police. " (scapula, clavicle, humerus, ulna, radius, carpals, metacarpals, phalanges). 2. For the bones of the lower limb: " Help five police to find ten missing prisoners. " (hip, femur, patella, tibia, fibula, tarsals, metatarsals, phalanges). 3. For the vertebrae of the spinal column: " Clever Dick looks silly clot! "
