THE THREE GRACES Here's a new mnemonic by Peter Hobbs for the names of the three Graces of classical literature : " YOU FROSTY UGLY THANG! " (Euphrosyne, Aglaia, Thalmia) The Graces were the Roman personification of grace and beauty, and regarded as bestowers of beauty and charm. Known as the Charites in Greek mythology, they were goddesses, daughters of Jupiter (the Roman name for Zeus, father of the Gods) and friends of the Muses.
