Here's a well-known mnemonic sentence to aid the remembering of Ohm's Law:
" Virgins Are Rare. "
(Volts = Amps x Resistance)
Some argue that the Law (discovered by Georg Ohm in 1827) should always be expressed in terms of resistance (ie. ohms=volts/amps) rather than potential difference (volts) or current (amps), but what do they know!
