White's K4(e4) pawn removed Black's QP, starting a tactic to leave Black with an IQP (ie. isolated QP).
Black's KPawn exchanges, removing White's newly doubled QP on Q4(d5) and creating an open file. The exchange usually gains Black an IQP. B-Alt.
