White's Queen's Knight's Pawn out to QKt3(b3) starts a Nimzowitsch Opening (a system where White plays 1.Kt-KB3, 2.P-QKt3 against any Black move except 1..P-K4). The move also implies he will next fianchetto his queen's bishop for full control of the dark centre Q4+K5(d4+e5) squares. W-Alt.
