Mutual King's Pawn - "The Open Game"

White's P-K4(e4) attacked Q5+KB5(d5+f5) to control the centre and open paths for his (her) KB+Q.
Black has the same idea, setting a mutual King's Pawn - a solid open defence (so termed because in open games the centre tends to be opened up by an early P exchange rather than blocked by close play). He or she should be able to defend the Ruy. B-Alt.
